“Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle, be our
protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil.
May God rebuke him we humbly pray; and do thou,
O Prince of the Heavenly Host, by the Power of God,
cast into Hell, Satan and all the evil spirits who prowl
about the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.”
Prayer to St. Michael (short version)

“Sancte Michael Archangele, defende nos in praelio.
Contra nequitiam et insidias diaboli esto praesidium.
Imperet illi Deus, supplices deprecamur.
Turque princeps militiae caelestis, Satanam
aliosque spiritus malignos, qui ad perditionem animarum
pervagantur in mundo divina virtute in infernum detrude. Amen.”
Latin Prayer to St. Michael (short version)

It should be understood that the forces being dealt with require self-honesty and pure spirit. Spiritual forces on Earth right now have few who are socially sanctioned to manage, which is primarily a function of the Vatican in terms of the “devil” and exorcisms. A dedicated MARDUKITE will have no difficulty in employing protections against the ANCIENT ONES in the forms found in the Maklu Text and the same rites found on Akkadian & Chaldean tablets. What is not so well known, and is actually kept secret by the Church today, is the powers held by the original “Lord's Prayer” and also the “Prayer to St. Michael.” Both are specifically applicable to this tradition.

A careful examination of the Necronomicon will actually reveal a suggestion of the use of the Lord's Prayer by the modern editor Simon Peter in the Introduction: “Invocations using solar formulae have proven thus far effective in successfully banishing demons and intelligences. For instance, the Kaddish prayer of the Jewish faith contains some solar elements that have proved resilient to inimical genii, and the vibration of the Lord's Prayer is also workable...”

Version One: Avvon d-bish-maiya, nith-qaddash shim-mukh. Tih-teh mal-chootukh. Nih-weh çiw-yanukh:

Mid-til de-di-lukh hai mal-choota oo khai-la oo tush-bookh-ta l'alam al-mein. Aa-meen.
Version Two: Our heavenly Father, hallowed is your name. Your Kingdom is come. Your will is done,
As in heaven so also on earth. Give us the bread for our daily need. And leave us serene,
just as we also allowed others serenity. And do not pass us through trial, except separate us from the evil one.
For yours is the Kingdom, the Power and the Glory To the End of Days for all of the universes. Amen!
Version Three: AVINU SHEBA-SHAMAYYIM YITKADASH SHEMAYCHA TAVO MALKUTAYCHA YE-
ASSEH RETZONCHA K'MO BA-SHAMAYYIM KAIN BA-ARETZ ET LECHEM HUKAYNU TEN-LONU

The Prayer to St. Michael the Archangel is originally part of a more elaborate exorcism rite that was once performed at the end of each Mass after the induction of the tradition by Pope Leo XIII. The full version can be found in reprints of the Roman Roccolta (1898), though use of it disappeared in the 1960s under Vatican Council II. There is also a “Chaplet of Devotion in Honor of St. Michael and the Nine Choirs of Angels” also known as the “Angelic Chaplet.” The practical use of the Chaplet was given to a devout servant, Antonia D'Astonac in an apparition by St. Michael. In 1851, Pope Pius IX granted significant indulgences to all who pray the chaplet ritual. It is interesting to note that in the chaplet, the Lord's Prayer is actually intoned before saluting each of the Nine Choirs (angles) of Angel. A left-handed version of the chaplet appears among Anton LaVey's Satanic Rituals, called the “Ceremony of the Nine Angles” and it is listed among the “Metaphysics of Lovecraft” section, perhaps LaVey's interests in also bringing to light the practical side of Lovecraft's Necronomicon and Cthulhu-mythos. It is unique to point out that Sitchin, Simon and LaVey have all been distributed to the mainstream public in paperback form via Avon/HarperCollins publications.

ORIGINAL PRAYER TO ST. MICHAEL (Long Version)

O Glorious Prince of the heavenly host, St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in the battle and in the terrible warfare that we are waging against the Principalities and Powers, against the Rulers of this World of Darkness, against the evil spirits. Come to the aid of man, whom Almighty God created immortal, made in His own image and likeness, and redeemed at a great price from the tyranny of Satan.

Fight this day the battle of the Lord, together with the holy angels, as already you have fought the leader of the proud angels, Lucifer, and his minions, who were powerless to resist thee, nor was there place for them any longer in Heaven. That cruel, ancient serpent, who is called the devil or Satan who seduces the whole world, was cast into the abyss with his angels. Behold, this primeval enemy and slayer of men has taken courage. Transformed into an angel of light, he wanders about with all the multitude of wicked spirits, invading the earth in order to blot out the name of God and of His Christ, to seize upon, slay and cast into eternal perdition souls destined for the crown of eternal glory. This wicked dragon pours out, as a most impure flood, the venom of his malice on men of depraved mind and corrupt heart, the spirit of lying, of impiety, of blasphemy, and the pestilent breath of impurity, and of every vice and iniquity.

Arise then, O Invincible Prince, bring help against the attacks of the lost spirits to the people of God, and give them the victory. They venerate thee as their protector and patron; you alone are our sole defense against the malicious power of hell; to thee has God entrusted the souls of men to be established in heavenly beatitude. Oh, pray to the God of Peace that He may put Satan under our feet, so far conquered that he may no longer be able to hold men in enslavement. Offer our prayers in the sight of the Most High, so that they may quickly find mercy in the sight of the Lord; and vanquishing the dragon, the ancient serpent, who is the devil and Satan, do thou again make him captive in the abyss, that he may no longer seduce the nations. Amen.
